Monkey underpants man

No blank drawing surface goes unused in my office.

I didn't have any paper within reach and being the sometimes lazy person I am, used a 4x6 fedex thermal shipping label which was within reach.

El Chupacabra

This guy made his 1st appearance in Peurto Rico and I vaguely remember an X-Files episode that had Chupacabras in it. Chupacabra literally means "Goat Sucker"

Drawn while working and listening to a Nova program about mythical creatures.

Tame the Beast

Ann Darrow isn't the only one who can tame a gorilla, so can little butterflies. This one is based on a 10 second sketch I did last week while watching a documentary on apes.

Lets go pillage!

I did kind of draw myself into a corner on this one. I had no plan and no idea what it was going to be, other than some kind of guy... and it shows

Both the hands are weird and the sword/shield position on this one is less than stellar, but that's the great thing about doing quick sketches; you didn't just waste an hour on a drawing that is not really working. But I'll keep this one, flaws and all, and make it better in another drawing.

Moai of Rapa Nui

I love documentaries.

I like to watch them and I like to listen to them while I work. So while I watched a Nova documentary on how the people of Rapa Nui might have made the Moai "walk" to their final destination I did these sketches from the t.v.

I first watched this documentary back in January and did a Lego micro build of a Moai head. It took more than 5 minutes to design and build, but I'm gonna show it anyway.
